Lead and scale Pie's claims adjudication function for workers' compensation across jurisdictions. Own strategy execution, team structure, KPIs, budgets, large-loss settlements, regulatory compliance, and claims technology adoption. Partner with Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Product, Finance, Legal and external stakeholders to drive improved claims outcomes, loss ratios, and customer experience while building senior talent and governance for adjudication operations.

Manage employee relations, ensure labor law compliance, support performance management, administer benefits and leave, maintain HRIS data and reporting, run workforce analytics for diversity, support onboarding and headcount processes, and improve People systems and programs while partnering with leaders and cross-functional teams.

Lead HRMS implementation, maintenance and support activities: ensure data integrity, troubleshoot issues, design processes, build reports and dashboards, run testing and integrations, and partner with People teams on training and improvements.

Lead corporate actuarial functions for workers' compensation and other P&C lines, managing a team to perform reserving, pricing, ratemaking, predictive modeling, reinsurance optimization, and analytics. Manage workers' compensation claims end-to-end for California: investigate, determine compensability, set reserves, administer benefits, control litigation, negotiate settlements, and provide claims guidance to agents and insureds while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent customer service.

Manage and grow high-volume strategic distribution partnerships (wholesale and complex structures). Identify and develop new partners, maintain agency relationships, design and implement strategic programs, track performance and industry trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive profitable premium growth and retention.

Manage and grow a large partner portfolio through proactive business development and account management. Drive partner engagement, submissions, binds, and premium growth using analytics and cross-functional collaboration. Represent Pie at partner meetings and events, track performance against OKRs, forecast channel premium, and implement strategies to improve retention and profitability.

Manage end-to-end California workers' compensation claims, including complex/high-exposure files. Conduct investigations, determine compensability, set reserves, manage medical and indemnity benefits, control litigation and legal costs, negotiate settlements, and provide excellent service to agents and insureds while mentoring junior adjusters and improving claims processes.

The Staff Business Systems Analyst will manage Salesforce solutions and partner with stakeholders, ensuring effective integration and data flow across multiple platforms while supporting business needs and documentation efforts.
