Leads the design and modernization of secure, scalable, resilient cloud platforms. Develops reference architectures, reusable engineering patterns, automation frameworks, IaC, CI/CD standards, security controls, observability, disaster recovery, and operational practices. Partners with architecture, engineering, security, SRE, and delivery teams to guide implementations, evaluate technologies, support cloud migrations, improve reliability and cost efficiency, and mentor technical teams.

Establishes Guild Mortgage’s enterprise integration strategy, governance model, API and data interoperability standards, and long-term architecture roadmap. Leads integration governance, ecosystem and platform selection, executive alignment, compliance, vendor negotiations, and change management. Advises technical leaders on architecture, security, quality, and standards; develops models, roadmaps, KPIs, and executive presentations; mentors architects and promotes integration excellence. The role is strategic and advisory rather than implementation-focused, covering hybrid and multi-cloud environments and emerging event-driven and AI-driven integration approaches.

Supports mortgage origination compliance through complaint investigations, regulatory and investor examinations, risk-based monitoring, transactional testing, regulatory research, root cause analysis, reporting, and remediation. Independently manages multiple compliance matters, develops testing methodologies and monitoring materials, communicates findings to regulators and leadership, and recommends improvements to compliance controls and the Compliance Management System.

Supports governance, monitoring, and IT General Controls for third-party relationships and external users. Responsibilities include due diligence, risk classification, identity and access oversight, least-privilege reviews, access certifications, MFA and DLP monitoring, incident escalation, remediation tracking, audit support, reporting, business continuity and disaster recovery activities, offboarding controls, process documentation, and stakeholder coordination across IT, security, compliance, legal, HR, and vendor management.

Leads the company’s AI governance program by developing frameworks, policies, controls, inventories, approval processes, and monitoring for AI and LLM tools. Partners with security, engineering, IT operations, risk, legal, and compliance teams to manage AI risks, third-party due diligence, data protection, regulatory compliance, audits, training, and responsible AI adoption. Tracks emerging regulations and standards while measuring program effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.

Leads a DevOps engineering team and owns people management, delivery execution, capacity planning, stakeholder coordination, and technical direction. Oversees CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation, cloud and platform engineering, environment governance, security remediation, observability, incident response, and operational resiliency. Partners with engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, and SRE teams to improve delivery reliability, automation, platform availability, and enterprise technology outcomes.

Supervises loss mitigation operations, including team productivity, loan reviews, FHA workout decisions, compliance audits, escalated accounts, reporting, training, and process-improvement projects. Ensures loss mitigation activities comply with investor, state, federal, CFPB, and company requirements. Manages team members, inventory, general ledger reconciliation, auditor responses, and borrower communications while maintaining timely and accurate case resolution.

Manages a mortgage bankruptcy portfolio, preparing and submitting legal claim packages, reviewing debtor plans and payment histories, coordinating with attorneys, applying fees, tracking deadlines, auditing invoices and files, updating systems, and responding to customer, court, and attorney inquiries. Requires mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy processing experience, strong organization, communication, data-entry, Microsoft Office, compliance, and customer service skills.
