The Sr./Principal Software Engineer will design and implement core capabilities for SingleStore's cloud platform, focusing on scalability and reliability, while mentoring other engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Leads the Americas regional new-logo sales organization across enterprise, commercial, and strategic segments. Owns territory strategy, pipeline generation, sales execution, forecasting, recruiting, coaching, and seller development. Establishes activity and performance metrics, improves qualification and deal execution, partners cross-functionally to increase pipeline quality and customer outcomes, and personally supports strategic pursuits. Success is measured through new-logo attainment, conversion rates, win rate, sales velocity, forecast accuracy, seller productivity, and talent retention.

Develop and deploy reliable software for a distributed SQL database in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and owning projects throughout the product lifecycle. Work may involve LLMs, vector indexes, database fault tolerance, SQL query performance, SIMD, LLVM code generation, search, and query optimization. Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams while developing professionally alongside experienced engineers.

The role involves end-to-end project ownership, collaboration across teams, and participation throughout the product lifecycle.

Own net-new enterprise customer acquisition for SingleStore’s AI and data platform. Build territory strategy, self-source pipeline, prospect across broad accounts, and create demand in emerging AI categories. Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving executives, technical teams, security, legal, procurement, and partners. Develop ROI and business cases, coordinate technical validation and production workloads, manage forecasts and close plans, and deliver measurable new-logo and quota performance.

Own a broad territory focused on acquiring net-new enterprise customers for SingleStore’s AI and data platform. Build self-sourced pipeline through outbound, account-based, partner, and market-education motions; engage executive and technical stakeholders; develop ROI and TCO cases; navigate complex technical, security, legal, procurement, and negotiation processes; partner with engineers to establish production workloads; and manage forecasting, qualification, CRM hygiene, and new-logo performance.

Own new-logo enterprise sales for SingleStore’s AI and data platform. Build territory strategy, self-source pipeline, prospect across broad account universes, develop champions, and lead complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Create business cases involving ROI, TCO, and operational impact; coordinate technical validation, security, legal, procurement, negotiation, and close. Partner with engineers to establish initial production workloads while maintaining accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, and opportunity management.

Design, build, and operate distributed infrastructure powering customer workloads across multiple regions and clouds. Responsibilities include managing container pools, scaling, routing, RBAC, billing, observability, secure cluster networking, and production reliability. The role leads cross-functional initiatives, improves engineering standards and cloud cost efficiency, participates in on-call rotations, and mentors engineers while enabling real-time AI and data applications.

A 12-week software engineering internship involving feature development, software testing, and continuous production deployment.
