Creates platform-native content for YouTube and digital channels using audience insights, search, retention, and performance trends.

The reporter will develop sources, break news, produce conversational Smart Brevity-style content, use AI tools to improve reporting and production, and help shape Axios Local's evolving product. Success requires strong local-market knowledge, entrepreneurial initiative, deadline experience, curiosity, and the ability to create compelling scoops and insights for local readers.

Own and grow a local sales territory for Axios by building outbound pipelines, acquiring new advertisers, closing business, and expanding existing partnerships. Lead the full sales cycle, develop territory and category strategies, exceed revenue targets, sell to senior decision-makers, and coordinate deal execution across internal teams.
