Designs and guides scalable, reliable, secure software architecture for Akamai’s global network operations systems. Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research for cloud, CDN, and security products. Design interviews, usability studies, surveys, and analytics-led evaluations. Partner with product, engineering, and design to influence roadmap, translate findings into customer journeys and recommendations, and improve developer and enterprise workflows across content delivery, cloud infrastructure, automation, and edge computing.

Assess and mitigate security risks across applications, systems, and networks. Perform security assessments, incident investigations, and compliance work (NIST 800-53/800-171). Design and deploy mitigations, provide security guidance, and build automation, scripts, and tools to improve detection and response.

Lead and grow engineering teams responsible for the Akamai Compute integration layer. Define strategy and roadmap for customer-facing APIs and backend orchestration, drive architecture shifts to container orchestration and modular designs, improve SDLC, reliability, observability, and security, and partner with product, SRE, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure platform services.

As a Senior Product Support Engineer, you'll provide escalation support for security products, focusing on performance, reliability, and security for customers using Akamai's Zero Trust platform.

Senior pre-sales architect focused on network and infrastructure security. Support sales of DDoS mitigation, Security Posture Management, and DNS products (including Prolexic). Engage customers with demos, deep technical discussions, trials, and solution evangelism. Collaborate with sales and product management to influence roadmap and drive adoption.

Lead technical marketing for API, AI agent, and application security by deploying and testing Akamai products, building PoCs, demos, labs, and attack simulations, creating technical content and enablement, validating messaging, and presenting technical briefings while collaborating with product, engineering, and field teams.
