Leads and grows the National Tax Controversy team, representing clients in IRS examinations and appeals, resolving tax account and collection matters, and preparing penalty relief requests. Supports client-facing professionals, develops controversy policies and resources, creates tax communications, delivers webcasts, and collaborates on firm-wide tax quality initiatives.

Leads international tax advisory services for clients, managing relationships, engagements, technical quality, compliance, and methodology. Advises businesses on international expansion, cross-border transactions, international structures, foreign tax credits, mergers and acquisitions, earnings repatriation, treaty analysis, and export sales incentives. Maintains expertise in U.S. and foreign tax laws while developing client relationships and promoting broader firm services.

Manage sales and use tax consulting projects, including nexus studies, restructuring, voluntary disclosures, audit representation, return reviews, and refund opportunities. Drive client and practice growth, develop staff, support transaction tax engagements, create thought leadership, recruit talent, and ensure compliance with firm risk-management, billing, collections, and documentation policies.

Leads tax compliance and consulting services for a client book of business, overseeing teams, reviewing and signing engagement letters, tax returns, workpapers, and client deliverables. The role includes approving fees, monitoring tax law changes, mentoring professionals, managing client relationships, and developing new business and expanded services. The position requires significant public accounting tax experience and senior-level leadership.

Advise clients on federal tax accounting methods, including income and expense recognition, inventory, capitalization, cost recovery, and accounting periods. Research complex tax issues, prepare calculations, analyses, Form 3115 filings, technical memoranda, IRS responses, and ruling requests. Manage multiple client projects, collaborate with firm leaders, and mentor staff while delivering accurate, timely solutions.
