As a Satellite Systems Software Engineer, you will develop software for managing satellites, participate in system design, and ensure reliable operations of Starlink's systems.

This role involves creating tools for rapid development, monitoring systems, supporting CI/CD, and managing infrastructure for Starlink's software operations.

Design, operate, and scale Starlink's software and network infrastructure. Build automation for on-prem compute, deploy/manage core services (databases, monitoring, storage), enable CI/CD and testing (virtualized, HIL, on-orbit), troubleshoot across the stack, and collaborate with engineers to improve performance and developer velocity.

Support deployment, activation, troubleshooting, and integration of Starlink Community Gateway hardware. Provide pre-sales technical support, develop customer integration processes, collaborate across teams to define product requirements, and travel to customer sites for installation and issue resolution.

Design and build developer operations tools, CI/CD, testing (virtualized, HIL, on-orbit), monitoring, and core infrastructure to enable rapid, reliable Starlink software development and deployment.

Develop GNC algorithms and software for satellites, perform simulations, data analysis, and maintain system designs for autonomous operations.

Design, deploy, and operate on-premise Kubernetes clusters and core infrastructure (databases, monitoring, storage). Build automation, collaborate with software teams, maintain high availability, troubleshoot across the Starlink stack, and improve system reliability and performance.

Plan and execute employee engagement, inclusion, and recognition programs and events; manage employee communities, internal communications, budgets, and engagement tracking to improve workplace culture across SpaceX sites.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll oversee hardware design for Starlink satellites, collaborate on requirements, optimize systems, and manage product delivery timelines.

Design and deploy Starlink antenna sites worldwide: develop hardware, power and connectivity solutions, create infrastructure plans with international partners, enable rapid deployment processes, review site reliability, and coordinate cross-functionally to meet system performance and growth goals. Frequent travel and extended hours support launch and critical timelines.
