The Staff Forward Deployed Engineer drives AI adoption for strategic customers by solving complex cloud infrastructure challenges, developing scalable assets, and influencing product roadmaps through collaboration and technical expertise.

Lead design and implementation of scalable, multi-tenant serverless inference services focused on throughput, GPU utilization, resiliency, observability, and operational tooling. Partner with platform and GPU teams, debug production performance issues, mentor engineers, drive incident response, and create reusable patterns, standards, and automation for inference workloads.

Design, build, and maintain security products and infrastructure: real-time detection engines (Flink/Kafka), high-performance APIs (Go/Node.js), streaming analytics, Kubernetes at hyperscale, and petabyte-scale data pipelines. Lead technical designs, collaborate with security teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Design, develop, test, and maintain DigitalOcean's low-level virtualization stack for Droplets. Collaborate across hardware, kernel, observability, and product teams to support scale, security, GPU/AI workloads, and new hardware. Contribute to open source virtualization projects, validate hardware, backport and deploy patches, improve release pipelines, and participate in on-call rotations.
